I would like to learn a foreign language which is the easiest language to be learnt.?

Iam an indian and intersted in learning a simple and soft foreign language where i can try out my best. Can you suggest which is the easiest one to learn in india.

  1. French, its easy and mice to learn. it has around 75,000 words as compared to English which has more than 1,000,000 words.


  2. It's the Malay Language, or called Bahasa Malaysia alternativelly in Malaysia.And for an Indian like you, it is even easier because it contains a lot of loan words from Sanskrit.

  7. Singhala, srilankan language as the pronounciation is same as any south indian language & there are many words similar to sanskrit & hindi words. So I feel it can be learnt very soon

  9. SPANISH OR ITALIAN.but i can't tell u which 1 would be easier for you to learn in India,over-all they are 2 of the easiest foreign languages to learn.good luck!

  10. English.  Maybe you could try American.  Almost ANY language is easier than English or American. (The word is learned, not learnt.)

  17. Definitely Spanish!  Once you learn it, it is easy to learn French, and Italian.

  18. Well I guess it depends on where you live. Like state? Country? city? and ect. I was told French is the easiest to learn but I have to dissagree with that one right now. I have lived in Florida, Texas and California mostly so the easiest Language to learn besides English for me woudl be Spanish. But I have been told that English is one of the hardest languages to learn but I knwo some little ones that came from Meixco Learned English Realy quick and very well by watching the PBS Children's Television
