Usually it's called a second job or a part time job.  Any of the fast food joints, restaurants, libraries, whatever.  You could also consider independent sales of cosmetics or herbal foods.  Just look around.  I hear Tim Horton's in Alberta is having a hard time keeping people hired because of the high wages paid by the oil fields.

They're a marketing company of sorts. Depending on where in Canada you are, you can make some extra cash doing product demonstrations / distributing samples at stores.

My neighbour does this during her free time. It's a fun job with a flexible schedule. And, I'd recommend it if it's something that appeals to you.
