I am planning on studying abroad at the Uni of Leicester next year (fall of 2009- spring 2010.

It would be my final year at the University of Kansas in the US, but i really want to travel abroad and this is the best opportunity for me to do this.

I am trying to expand my circle of friends outside the US, especially in anticipation of my plans to study abroad.

I'm pretty sure my email is in my account info, but it is Chaseme9@ku.edu

If you have any interest in meeting someone abroad I would appreciate it if you emailed me.

I would love to meet people so that when i go over there I actually know someone.

Thanks in advance!

  1. UK is a rotten, lousy place to be, especially up north, never mind the weather...yes I'm a miserbale Brit & good to know ya.

Sounds like you've already made your plans & if you want the experience...

Only say that as I for one cant wait to leave...permanently! LOL

    All the best

  2. It is 5.40am, not the best time to post a question when 80% of the UK population is asleep.

  3. Could I suggest linking into an epal or social networking site say myspace.com site this may give you a link to people of your own age in and around Leicester.

  4. The North of England is much friendlier than the South, everyone knows that.

Britain isn't miserable, sure the weather isn't super hot, but there is a lovely feeling you get walking in the light rain...

  5. UK is a great place. We are very proud of our heritage and are a very friendly bunch (The souther you go they get a bit "different")

We dont really like the Americans though lol

What youll find is Brits wont tell you how they feel. They are very polite. Unless you really p**s them off and youll get stabbed/shot/your head kicked in
