hi, i would jus like to no how old you have to be to buy cigarettes, smoke and drink in spain as me and my boyfriend are goin next may!

last time I went they'd just put the smoking ban into place, so now it's quite hard to buy cigarettes, you have to go to special tobacco dealers coz they don't just sell them in newsagents/bars etc (i think!)

i wouldnt buy cigarettes because if you get addicted to them over there you cant smoke it here

My cousin and uncle are going there soon. She did research; 18, 13 with parental permission. I"m pretty sure that goes for buying cigarettes, but I'm not positive.

I live in Spain and you need to be 18 legally to buy cigarettes and drink.  

They have cigarette machines in pratically every bar, but they usually need to be operated by the bar staff.  You walk into the bar and ask for tobacco and they turn the machine on with a remote. Or you can buy cigarettes at the tobacco shop.

Drink is sold in all the same places as the UK.  You may be asked for ID, you may not.
