  1. Thats because it is catered to our tastes.

I worked in an indian restaurant and there was an authentic night - personally i didn't like the look or sound of it.

i love tandoori king prawn though x

  2. I don't know anything about the business side, but i agree with you about the food. I've spent a lot of time in India and the food in the UK does not compare.

  3. It may not be "authentic" but it's what the paying public know and want.

  4. You must be joking do you think you can just open a restaurant when you obviously haven't a clue what it's all about?

  5. can i suggest you re-think your question.

Where in the UK do you wish to establish this business?

How large do you plan this business to be?

You could easily pay between 10,000 GBP and 100,00 GBP to lease a restaurant.

Also, when you say authentic, I pressume you mean authentic Indian? The UK public have been eating "British Indian" for decades and are not familiar with authentic Indian dishes (which in my opinion do not exist as there are many regional diferences).

Try Bangra in Harborne high street. If you can beat them for qualty and service you might be able to make money, otherwise you will just survive

    good luck
