  5. You can copy 100 songs from you're Computer to CD as i have done it loads of times on my Windows XP PC.

You can copy Music files in MP3 or WMA format from you're PC to CD.

Depending on the lengh of the song, you maybe able to store over 100 MP3 files or over 200 WMA files on a normal 700MB CD of data that you can get from the Poundshop! ;)

You will need to use CD R or CD RW Disk.

    Here's how you do it.

    Select Music files to copy.

    1. Insert CD into recordadble CD drive.

(a recordable drive may appear,.asking what you want to do.)

    2. click "Take know Action"

    3. Click "OK" and continue.

    4. Select the Music Files you want to copy to Cd.

(To select multiple Music Files, press and hold down the "CTRL" key as you click each file you want to copy.)

    5.Click "Copy selected Items"

(Note: If you selected only one file click "Copy to File" in step 5.)

*The copy items dialog Box apperars*

6.Click the recordable CD drive that contains the CD you want to copy the files to.

    7. Click "Copy" to place a copy of the files in a temporary storage area on you're Computer where the files will be held until you copy them to CD.

    * You can repeat the steps 4. and 7. for each set of files you want to copy to CD.*

Now to copy and select the Music files to a CD.

Start>My Computer>double click the Recordable Drive that contains the CD you want to copy the files to.

    * A window appears, displaying the files being held in a temporary storage area on you're PC and any files currently stored on the CD.*

    4. Click "Write these files to CD" * the writting Wizard will appear*

    5. Type a name for the CD.

Note: the name you specify for the CD will appear in the "My Computer" window when the CD is in the CD drive.*

    6. Click " Next" to continue.

*The Wizard asks if you want to make an Audio or data CD.*

Note: If you have previously copied files to the CD,.skip to step 9.

    7. To keep you're files in the MP3 or WMA format on the CD put a green dot in the circle that say's:"Make a data CD(for computers and some CD players)

8.Click "Next" to copy the music files to the CD.

A message will appear when the copying has been successful,..and the drive will eject the CD when it's finished.

    9. Click "Finish" to close the Wizard.

    Thats it! ;)

  6. If you leave them in the Mp3 format and copy directly to a CD, most DVD players will recognize CD-R cd's and Mp3's and your music shuould play.  Dont use Media player or other types of media players to create the CD just simply take the raw Mp3's and copy to CD.  Windows XP or Vista will do this on its own.

  7. Burn as mp3 files not as a music cd.  Should fit. Google it if you're confused "how to burn a mp3 cd"
