I would like to see a retired veteran nascar race of the retired drivers still living that would be awesome.?

what do you guys think the outcome would be. Do you think the king still has it or do you think ned jarret will take him or DW or any of the others drivers, I think that would be awesome as h**l**

I totally agree! With restrictor plates, please, those old reflexes aren't what they used to be. King Richard? He's still got it, it's in his eyes. I think some of them really miss it. They could promote it for the NASCAR foundation, or even do Eldora or something.

It would be awesome but don't look for King Richard to come back. I think he and Linda have a bargain that includes no more racing for the King. More than once I've heard Kyle or Richard refer to not wanting to cross Linda on him not racing again so I suspect the Queen has spoken and the King is listening.

That is so funny. I was just talking to a friend about having a senior Nascar race. Sort of like senior golf. I think that would be so cool and a lot of fun.

I am glad I'm not the only one with that idea.

I said to my friend it should be The senior 500 sponsored by AARP and I'm not joking--it would give a chance for the older/retired drivers just to go out and have fun.

It's about to happen...The series will start in 2009. It's going to be called "Old School Racing Series":

Many great drivers will take part, like David Pearson. Unfortunately the King doesn't seem to be part of it.
