pls tell me how to obtain a toll free num. and what would be the charge i have to pay for each call

have a VoIP phone service (Net2Phone). It's the same type of service as Vonage. I have a toll free number, but it's free for me. I don't think it's that expensive. The unlimited service USA, and Canada is around $30 per month.

In India, toll free telephone facility is available mainly with BSNL/MTNL, Airtel and Tataindicom landlines. BSNL/MTNL have more than 98% market share in providing toll free telephony. If you are in Pondicherry, you should contact BSNL or any other private player of your choice for the facility and details of charges etc.
