Yes you can. First decide whether you would like to trade the edible oils in whole sale or in retail.

If you want to sell in whole sale, you have to register your Firm with the APMC ( Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee ) located at Yeshawanthpur. And later VAT registration as usual. If you are selling in retail, there is no need to register at APMC. Only VAT is enough.

Select the location for your shop. Approach the Manufacturers of Edible oils. Many of them are in Bangalore itself ( Sunpure - refined Sun flower oil ) buy in bulk. You may get quantity discount and cash discounts also. Sell at reasonable price.

Initially, I, recommended you to buy from the local " whole sellers ". Until you know the " Trade Secrets ". Once you are satisfied, then start buying directly from the Oil Extractors.
