I would like to start running?

Can someone who runs daily, tell me some tips on how to start running. Also can you tell me how long it took for you to start enjoying it?

I would like to start running, but it seems like I can only do it for a matter of minutes. I would like to start running longer and faster because even though I can only run for short periods of time it feels great.

  2. start running in intervals.  run for 15 minutes then walk for 15 minute and reaprt again.  In about four weeks you should be able to run for and hour and enjoy what is known as a runners high.

  3. well. i enjoyied it from the begining. the breeze on my face was so cool and relxing to me.

    sometimes my side starts to hurt for a while alls you do is put your arm in the air and strech. then start running agian. in no time you will beable to run longer distinces

  4. when you start running u wanna find a good pair of shoes first and proper fitting clothes. Since you just started you should run for time instead of miles. when you start off just set a watch for 20:00 minutes and run around anywhere yould like u dont need to run hard this shoud be like a jog. once you feel stronger you should increase your time by 5:00 intervals. do this for 2 weeks. Now its time for the miles part. run any amount of miles that suites your level. When you run for miles you should not run hard just run it at a nice steady pace. do the miles part for 4 weeks. this should get you into pretty good shape. once your in good shape which takes about 6 weeks, form there on you can run as hard as you want but dont run hard everyday of the week once you get to this part. once you feel like getting burned out which takes a while like at least 3 months once u start the hard running take like 2 weeks off and begin the same thing over agian and to make running more fun you should enter 5ks or 10 races.

  5. um, start off small and push yourself to go farther every time you go. then you could be as good at running as the daily runners like me anyone else.
