I would like to take a cruise 2 Mexico and take a bus 2 Belize. Is there any bus from Calica or Cozumel 2 BLZ?

I want to find the cheapest route. A flight is close to $1000. I can take a cruise in for a lot less. If I can find a bus from Calica or Cozumel that would be great. There is a bus that travels from Chetumal, Mexico to Belize city, Belize but I would need to get to Chetumal first. I've been searching online for weeks and cannot find a way. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Where are you flying from? I ticket from the states will not cost you $1000. Anyway, if you want a cheap way to get the Belize, even cheaper than flying direct is to fly into Cancun, then take a bus to Chetumal, then take a bus into Belize.

Many people from Belize find that the cheapest route, even cheaper than flying directly into Belize a lot of times.

You can't debark a cruise in mid-trip without permission from the captain.

If you want to go to Belize, then go there directly.  There must be packages for less than $1000, unless you're looking for luxury.  

If you want to do the trip without a package, you may need to get creative.  For example, find out which airlines fly into Belize [check the airport website] from the U.S. and you may be able to fly to that U.S. departure port on one of the budget airlines then board the flight to Belize.  There are lots of inexpensive lodgings on Caye Caulker or Ambergris Caye.

There is no bus from Cozumel (it's an island), but you can catch the ferry over to Playa del Carmen.  Then take a bus down to Chetumal. Check ino a hotel there and have the clerk at the desk call Challenger Taxi to pick you up at the Hotel in the morning. Challenger Taxi will help you get across the border faster. Then they can take you to the bus station in Corozal.
