I would like to teach abroad - But as a volunteer and I don't want to have to pay for the trip. I'm looking at going for a month or less.

I live in the UK, does anyone know any reputable companies or even better has anyone gone on one of these trips?

  1. we once had someone staying with a friend of ours on a farm/us a few times, she would volunteer on the farm and at various people's houses...she was something like a whoofer...she got to go on all the trips with the people, sometimes it was like being a nanny but other times she could do gardening or farm work....she didn't have to pay for accomadation or her visa but she did have to pay for her flights from her home country and Canada( she didn't have to pay for the flights on the family vacation though). I hear that you can also take trips like these to france, spain, austria, italy etc. and they're great for learning new languages/becoming fluent.

  2. Look at being an Au Pair maybe.
