I'm very interested in trying Japanese cuisine. Inari and California rolls are reputable dishes what are vegetarian in japanese cuisine. Anybody have any idea on where I can get them without going to a restaraunt?

  1. Yeah...California rolls are not vegetarian friendly. I'm sure you could order them and ask the chef to hold the seafood. BUT, then you'd have to go to a restaurant for that.

If you're looking for ready-made sushi, there are great cucumber rolls, avocado rolls, shitake mushroom rolls and vegetable rolls that you can try. They are veg and are really tasty.

  2. It doesn't matter what country or culture you are in, California rolls are not vegetarian.

Vegetarians do not eat fish, shrimp, crab, clam or any other animal.

  3. You already asked this question.  Like I said, California rolls are not vegetarian, but pescatarian.  Try going to Safeway, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, etc. to get it.

  4. Safeway and Raley's sell them.
