I would like to vacation in Cancun, Mex. Is the summer time cheaper because of the heat?

It is not always hot. I have been there in March and January, very pleasent weather.

I'm not sure, but Mexico isn't that pricey, compared to vacations in other parts of the world. Below is a pretty good link to help you out

It's cheaper because most countries are enjoying summer weather in their own countries plus it's hurricane season from June 1 to Nov 30th. Most people like traveling to Mexico during their winter to get away from the cold. They lower their prices to get you to come to Mexico because it's considered their low season. High season is Dec 15th to April 15th. Give or take a few days.

I doubt it's cheap cause of the heat..It's always hot in Mexico!  I think the summer would be a little more expensive since that's when the kids are out of school and people are on vacation but really a trip to Mexico, any part, is pretty cheap.  Nothing compared to the U.S.
