She was our daughter's teacher for 3 whole years.

I want to tell her I am grateful for having her as a teacher for 3 years. To thank her for being kind, calm, very supportive to our, sometimes very moody daugther. To thank you for digging through our daugther's desk in order to find some paperwork our dauther did not turn, so she can grade. And that I hope we will be seing her soon as a teacher since we have two more kids. I wouldl like it to sound warm and funny, and to say less (words) but more (between lines). Please, help me.

Thank you so much.

  1. Write what you want to say and have your daughter go over it and she can fix any errors you may have with your english.

  2. That sounds good to me..."Just what you wrote here"

  3. What you just put is wonderful! English may be your second language but you are more proficient than most people I know who have spoken it since birth. "Thank you very much for 3 years of supporting us and our daughter. We are so grateful for your kindness and for all the things that you have done for her." You can go on here and give some examples. I think it's very sweet that you are extending that gesture, I am a teacher in childcare center and it makes me feel wonderful when parents show their appreciation after their children move on.

  4. Why not write what you just did...I am sure the teacher is aware of the language issue.  If you need help then just e-mail me and I can help you.

  5. Why don't you have your daughter help you.  She's been in her teacher class for 3 years.

  6. Gee your English sounds pretty decent to me. Just write it- she will be happy to get it. She knows English is a second language for you and will understand if it is not perfect.

  7. just write to her what you wrote to us and let your daughter proof read it for spelling

  8. Your English is very good!, believe in yourself a little more.

Dear teacher, thank you for your motivation and help for my daughter. She valued and respected your teaching and has progressed very well. We both appreciate your hard work and she will be sad to leave your class. Best wishes for your future.

Hope you like my suggestion. Teachers have such a demanding job.
