I would love to lose some weight & get back in shape.?

Im about 5"4 & weigh about 126 pounds. I really want to lose some weight & tone up again. Im a dancer & I used to run track. I didn't run track last year & its been awhile since dance ended for last season. Im really out of shape now & I want to know specific things I can do for my problems.

* Best way to lose weight

* Best way to lose love handles

* Best way to reduce thigh & butt size

* Best way to tone up my core

Im willing to do anything & im really committed.

Ohh & are stretch marks a sign that your fat? I have some on my sides, chest, butt, inside thighs & back near my knees. Whats a good way to make them less noticeable? My mom keeps telling me that they are from my dancing & that my skin isn't elastic.

  1. to lose love handles do side bends they honestly work like its amazing i do about a 100 to each side every day.

    best way to loose weight is to watch what you eat. i stopped eating the extra snacks in between meals and i stopped eating ice cream i use to have a bowl every night and i havent in awhile it takes so much off.   start walking or running again. my thighs have no fat there all muscle because i swim so i dont know about that but i have to do leg lifts with build great leg muscle and if you do them on your stomach it will help your butt.

    strech marks dont mean you are fat  just your growing faster then your skin does.

    you can use cream to get rid of them


  2. I calculated your BMI and the result was 21.6. That is pretty much perfect. I think you don't need to lose weight, just tone up. Do some muscle strengthening exersizes!

  3. At 5'4 and 126 pounds you really shouldn't need to lose much weight but...

    The answer to your first three sub-questions is the same.  Increase your heart rate to between 65 - 75% of your maximum heart rate and maintain this for 30 to 60 minutes at least 3 times a week.  Next is your diet, and I don't mean starving yourself.  Just reduce your fat and carbohydrate intake.

    As for toning up your core, there is a ton of information on the net about abdominal exercises.  Add an ab workout to your 30 - 60 minute cardio workout.

    Can't really say about the stretch marks but unless you have been very obese at some point, I would bet its due to your past activities.

  4. k, first of all, ur NOT fat! gosh, Im sick of girls on here saying,"Im 5'5 and 120 lbs is that fat?"cause its not

    and stretch marks are not a sign of being fat. it could be from growing. also gaining and losing weight(I have some from losing weigth)

    btw, Im 134lbs. and 5'6 and ppl think Im skinny
