  1. Ok first figure out how much money you will have? Then figure out what exactly you want each part of the room to do for you. Desk or bookcase? Or both? One dresser or two? Drapes, curtains or blinds? Big rug or small ones?

With the big fluffy clouds you don't have much choices in the color of the walls where as with a mural you would have much better choices. You can buy them or draw and paint your own.

  2. I would recommend that you first find a reasonably priced comforter.  Search until you find one that you really like a lot and won't get tired of in a year.  Next, choose a color that will go with your comforter for the walls.  All four walls should be painted this one light color.  Choosing one light color will make your room appear larger than it is.  You may also want new curtains, if you have enough money.  A new comforter and a gallon of paint is going to make your room look new and refreshing and the best thing about it is, it may cost under $100.00 (depending on how much your comforter costs).  Good luck!  You can do this!!!  Make this your mid-summer project.  You will be very happy with the finished results.

  3. Or a big beautiful what?

Remember since your room is small you don't want to pick the wrong paint, because it can make your room look smaller.

I would suggest getting ideas from shows like design on a dime, and other shows shown on HGTV and TLC. They have corny ideas, but some of them are realy great ideas as well. Some ideas I have are to put fresh paint up, buy different linens, and recycle your furniture by stripping and painting or revarnishing a different color. You might even want to change the floorplan a bit. Little changes like this can make a huge difference on making a room look new.

  4. go to IKEA. paint it blue sky w/clouds. if its a small room, you will probubly only spend money on 1can of paint.
