There are nice clean hotels everywhere in Mexico. Some of the smaller ones owned by a family who will offer you a couple of meals can be great experiences especially for younger children. Just go check them out and decide for yourself.

Try this location onPlaya Larga, Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa, Mexico called Casa Kau Kan it's on the Pacific Ocean side. We've been there many times during the summer. It's a slower time there during the summer and high season around the hoildays. The staff always goes over and beyond, it's quite, safe and if you want relaxtion this is your place. The sound of the waves will lull you to sleep.

Try LAS BRISAS, google it, they are 5 star hotels, very nice!
