Vincenzo Montella, the former caretaker head coach of AS Roma, has gone on to remark on the impression Zeman has left on him, and praised his style of play.
Having spent the majority of his career at AS Roma, any match between Montella and AS Roma is given more coverage and the same is the case given that the former Giallorossi attacker is going to come up against his former employers. Montella started his coaching
career while he was still playing, he was hired as a player/coach in his last year as a professional footballer, but his coaching journey with the team stopped right there and he was hired by Catania in the following season.
After he was able to allow Catania to adapt to his set of play and finished the season in a comfortable position, the stock of the former Italian international rose, and he was consequently snapped up by Fiorentina. The club has been extremely serious about
changing their fortunes for the future and went on to sign many players for the Artemio Franchi outfit.
The Florence based outfit started out with much promise but they were not getting much slice of luck in their performances, however, they got their act together and have been performing extremely well of late. They went on a run of five consecutive victories,
results which have propelled in the top four of the standings.
Montella’s men face off AS Roma in the upcoming week and the former Elefanti head coach remarked on his opposite number in a press conference. He was full of praise for the Czech tactician and stated that he is great coach and it would be a privilege to
work with him. He went on to remark:

he can teach the game like few others.”
The Viola outfit have outperformed their ambitions with the mid season coming, and it would be interesting to see if they continue in this vein of form.
