I would not trade Hulk even for Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo - http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 President Pinto da Costa
FC Porto President Pinto da Costa claims that such is the value of his prized asset, Hulk, that he would not even consider trading him for Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, and reiterated that the forward will stay at Estadio do Dragao.
The 25-year-old has arguably been one the best forwards in Europe since his arrival from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kawasaki-Frontale-c39683 in 2008 and was integral to the Portistas haul of the quadruple last season.
Bagging 36 goals and 21 assists in the 2010/2011 campaign, the Brazilian International was the top scorer in the league and become one of the hottest properties on the continent. Understandably, he was linked with moves to bigger clubs like Manchester City
and Real Madrid.
However, Porto president Pinto da Costa has claimed that not only will the striker stay on with the club but also said that he would not be tempted to sell the coveted player even if Real Madrid goal-machine, Cristiano Ronaldo, was on the other end of the
bargain.
"It may sound like a heresy, but I would not trade Hulk for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629. This is my opinion, perhaps the coach will say different.”
"If we consider Ronaldo's price, we can consider that it is possible that someone pays €100m for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436," said the Dragao official.
Da Costa also revealed that he believed that Hulk’s attack partner, Radamel Falcao, was unlikely to part ways with the Dragons to join Atletico Madrid especially now that he had penned a new contract.
"If any club were to pay for him, they would have done it already and there are not many clubs who spend that kind of money on one player.”
"And when I read about Atletico Madrid's interest, I can only laugh," noted the Porto supremo.
With futures of both their main players, Hulk and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276, secured for at least a couple of seasons, the Portuguese champions can concentrate on facing the challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming season and will be looking to defend their hard-fought
crown.
