I want to block all infomercials. I want to block alot of other programs and want a button on my controller I can click and never see a that program again.

I want my Cable on 30 minute delay and always be able to fast forward through commercials.

I want my filter to be able to voice recognize and learn to identify infomercials quickly and move on from them.

I want standard TIVO or dvr features.

Thats what I want. I would pay alot for it. I just dont have time for the c**p. I pay alot for certain programming. I want to be able to get to it and not have to flick through 20 channels looking for a movie and nothing but commercials or infomercials channel after channel.

Is there an engineer that can do this? If so lets get rich. If they can filter naughty words etc. Maybe the fix is to monitor channels in different areas and block them globally, and not on a set by set basis.

I dont want to be laying on my death bed saying 7 years of my life went to infomercials!

  1. I don't see what your problem is. Why don't you just watch premium channels - with no commercials? (HBO, etc.)

Unfortunately, a 30 min delay is not good enough if you watch more than 2 hrs of TV (there are about 15 min of commercials per hour - so you will catch up with Live TV in about 2 hrs).
