I wrote a check to this company but put the wrong company name on it.?

No, the company cannot cash the check. It should be returned back to your bank institution or to you.

Probably.  My banker says its pretty much electronic now (they just look at the routing and account number)  There have been some people that have signed Mickey Mouse as signature and it has went thru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Kind of scary, huh??

I would check with your bank in about a week after you sent it and see if it has cleared.  

If you are really worried about it, you could potentially put a stop payment on the check and issue them another one.  Be sure to call them and tell them what you did.
