when you put down a school down on your fafsa that means that your financial aid information will be sent to them.  you can contact fafsa to let them know that their are other schools that you are interested in.  you can also contact the perspective to to make them aware that you have applied for financial aid but didn't include their name on the application.  they can most time advise you on what to do.  here is the information for contacting fafsa.
