Of course we should learn from history, so that we don't repeat the mistakes. But I'm sick of people referring to the past, as to say they are still like that today. Some examples are; Germans are the n***s, the j**s are imperial, the constant referrals of Britain to the British Empire, the west for the slave trade, amongst many others. It's really annoying and immature. Don't these people have an education? Don't they realise these people and societies are nothing like that today? For examples, the German society is completely different, with a hole set of new core values of freedom, democracy, human rights, liberty and justice for all etc, etc. There is no, I repeat NO comparison between modern Germany and the n***s, or with any other of the above. Will these people ever learn this???
