IAH Security? What Will I have to put on the tray?

I HATE going through the security in the airpot. What can I expect to unpack from my bags to put on that little tray? (X-Ray)

Wallet/Purse, any spare pocket change, keys, laptop, electronic devices (e.g. cell phone, MP3 Player, Laptop), toiletries, and also your shoes.   You do not need to unpack anything from your carry-on bag except for the toiletry bag that must be 3oz or less (really 3.4 but TSA won't admit it) I actually was able to get through security with 3.4oz deodorant and the person said 3.4oz/100ml is the policy and other TSA officers may say 3oz only.

Laptop, metal, shoes, jacket, all jewelry, sometimes food.

Nothing from your bags...........just the metal objects from your person......oh............your laptop if you have one...........shoes too...............
