  1. if you really don't want them in it then don't, however, if you don't have them in it, only have like one or two bridesmaids, and the same for your husband, that way it will look like there simply wasn't enough room for them and they cant be offended. even if they are, its you and your husbands day, don't worry about anybody else.

  2. Good for you for trying to be the bigger woman, but I understand your position. Why not try including them in the peripheral aspects of the wedding, for example, asking them to tend to guests at the ceremony, handing out wedding programs (if you will have them), being in charge of the gift table/gift box etc, so that you proactively cut of the complaints that they haven't been included in the wedding, but they are not enough a part of it that they will pose any possible threat to you having a good time. Good Luck!

  3. you might ask one to cut the cake, and the other to be in charge of the guest book..

  4. Were having a private renewal of vows. The only people who will be there will be the officiant, photographer, me and my husband. I don't want anyone else there. But we've kept the details to ourselves despite my mil and sil wanting to know when, where etc. IF they bring up the subject we just change it.

    good luck. :)
