IB Programme - I'm taking the IB program in Canada. I've just finished gr 11 (AKA first year IB) and was wondering whether it'd be worth staying. I'd like to know whether w/ my marks it would be worth it for me to drop or not. Thanks :)

Thanks :)

  1. yea im an ib student in canada too. if ur planning to stay in canada, then no i dont really see the point in taking ib. but if ur going internationally then stay. yea they only look at ur canadian diploma for canadian univeristies, they dont care about ur ib diploma mark. so ur percentages do count a lot and u could get a higher mark without ib. so u would get into a better unviersity. either quit or polish up ur marks, and ull excel in univeristy. there's still time.

  2. Can you ask your teachers about your predicted scores?  Regular marks don't always mean a lot, because it is hard to translate IB scores into grades; the range is completely different.

Why in the world would you ask a bunch of random people able your scores instead of your teachers or your IB coordinator?  They are the ones who can help you make a rational decision about the program.
