IB program HELP!!!!!?

How many IB higher level courses can you take?

and also, can you take higher level art and physics at the same time?

because my counselor says i can not take them since they are in the same group, is this true?

  1. You can take extra IB higher level courses-- as many as you have room for in your schedule.  However, your extra HL won't be able to count toward your diploma.  You'll just be doing it because you want to.

    I know this from two sources: IB's website and my own experience.  

    The website states that  "Diploma candidates who successfully complete more than six subjects receive an extra certificate for the additional subjects."  They wouldn't write that unless you're allowed to do it.

    Also, I took two IB electives, and I know someone else who took two IB maths.  Both of us ended up taking 7 IB tests rather than 6.
