IB program stuff...?

i am in ninth grade and i just made the varsity golf team...and my high school offers IB program which i've heard that it's really good for college(i want to go to stanford with golf scholarship, if possible)and i've heard that IB classes really take time and a lot of work which means i have real small time to work on golf. what should i do ? should i try or take APclasses in high school? thx mucho

  1. What do you want to major in in college? Unless you become a high paying golf pro (and perhaps even then) you will need a major that will lead to a suitable job. For that reason as well as others improve your mind by taking the more difficult classes./


  2. me too. I play golf and my school is known for our ib school across the nation. But I would suggest trying ib because it look amazing on your college application especially to Stanford.

  3. well ive been having the same problem and decided not to take ib cause apclasses are what they really look for. best thing to do is to talk to your counselor.ultimately though, its your choice:]

  4. if you want to go to a school like stanford, you are going to need that ib diploma. mostly everyone that attends that school has a 4.0+ GPA does sports, and art, and some sort of community service.
