IBEW LOCAL 176 question?

How do they do the drug testing in the electrical union for local 176 in Illinois. I heard of hair testing for apprectinces to get in, or is it just urine. Please please let me know

Drug testing reciprocity with IBEW locals #134, #176,and #461 went into effect December 1, 2005 so it can be assumed that they all utilize the same testing criteria.

Effective: 3/12/2007

Urine drug test results that are returned "diluted specimen" shall be considered as positive. The person being tested may appeal at which time they will be offered a hair sample test. Should the results of the hair sample test be returned as negative, these results shall stand as the final result and the test shall be paid for by the LMCC office. Should the results of the hair sample test be returned as positive they shall be used to confirm the previous urine test. Positive result hair test shall be paid for by the donor.

Sounds to me like you won't have to deal with a hair sample test unless you fail the urine test.
