IBM think pad Laptop?

Alright so, the school I'm going to makes everyone use the same IBM laptop.

my sister went to this school. and by the time she was a sophmore her laptop was always breaking and you had to keep the battery in all the time and it was just terrible.

im definitely better at taking care of technology than my sister so i know i wont have too much of a problem.

however, what are some tips so i can keep my laptop running properly for all four years? or at least most of the four years.

It doesn't matter if you are good at looking after technology ALL Windows Operating Systems WILL not last 4 -5 years!

If you use your laptop intensely (download sh*t programs like limewire) it will last 11-12 months!

If you use it properly (not downloading any stupid/useless programs) it  will last 24-36 months

You WILL have to reinstall Windows OS at sometime!

Dont download any programs you dont need!
