The day’s activities were aimed at spreading the game of cricket to the public of Edinburgh and beyond. A diverse range of people were actively involved in the proceedings, of which many hailed from different walks of life. Corporate bankers, students, tourists

son has just started playing cricket and he loves it - he is a big Saltires fan to boot!”

When CS and CF arrived at the Festival Square, a pitch inspection proved to be unnecessary. Festival Square witnessed, green astro-turf mats that were laid across the square with a colorful rig in the middle.

Cricket Factory’s Pete Gray envisioned the prospect of working with Cricket Scotland in the future in supporting the growth of the game in the country.
