Sri Lanka’s captain Kumar Sangakkara replaced Indian great batsman Sachin Tendulkar to be on the top of the International Cricket Council’s Test batsman rankings.
Sangakkara snatched the first place from Tendulkar as he scored a tremendous century against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760. He smashed a fantastic 150 score in Sri Lanka’s first innings in the second Test match between the two countries in Colombo.

Cook. Trott was lifted to the eighth spot after playing an unbeaten innings of 135 runs which helped his side earn the draw.
Whereas, the ICC bowling rankings saw South African http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dale-c52110 Steyn retained his first position with 860 points and England’s Graeme Swann coming second best with 831 points.

Australian record-breaking bowler, Peter Siddle also climbed up the rankings with 621 points as he took six wickets including a hat-trick on the first day of the Ashes Test match.
England’s Steven Finn also moved up to 19th position with 552 points after the conclusion of the first Ashes Test match as he also took six wickets during Australia’s first innings.
