The Sri-Lankan batsmen and Captain Kumar Sangakkara regained the top position in the ICC Test batsmen ranking. He ended the master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar’s short lived stay on the number one spot.
Sangakkara has been performing exceptionally well in the ongoing series against West Indies. He has scored 228 runs in the two completed matches until now. Sachin Tendulkar could only manage a single half century in four of his innings against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754

Meanwhile a double-century knock confirmed a spot for AB DeVilliers in the top ten for the first time. The unbeaten innings of 278 against Pakistan by DeVilliers was the highest individual score by any South African batsman against any team in the world.
Due to his heroic efforts, AB is currently at the fifth spot in the rankings.

The top ten is completed by the South African Captain Graeme Smith and the Sri-Lankan Thilan Samaraweera. Both batsmen have performed with consistency. Graeme Smith started the series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 with a century which helped him to be in the top ten.
