The mega event will be played in Australia next month as the home team will look to defend their title. 16 teams from all across the globe will take part in the forthcoming edition of the competition, which has produced a number of great players in past.

The 44-year-old went on to play 96 Tests and 88 One Day Internationals for his country and scored more than eight thousand runs at the world stage, which included 15 centuries and 49 fifties. The top-order batsman lead the Poms in late-1990s and early-2000s.
