The Under-19 teams of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Canada-c748 played their 6th match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier at Limavady Cricket Club, Limavady on Friday, August 5, 2011.
Irish team was comparatively stronger then the guest team as they have had some good performances in the tournament so far and have lost just one fixture in the tournament so far.
The Canadian captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nitish-Kumar-c79751 were the opening batsmen who came out on the crease to being the Canadian batting innings.
Canada did not have a good start as the deadly bowling attack of the Irish team displayed its magic one again and opener Shah got lbw out at an excellent delivery by the Irish pacer, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shane-Charles-Getkate-c89657.
Shah returned to the pavilion at a duck and left the Canadian team at a total of 0 at the loss of 1 wicket. The next man to come out for batting was http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nikhil-Dutta-c79597 but his partner at the striker’s end got bowled out after contributing just a single run. His
dismissal left the guests at an alarming score of 2 runs off 2 wickets.
Kyle Edghill came out to face the Irish bowlers after Kumar’s fall. He together with Dutta tried to score a few runs for his team McCarter’s awesome bowling did not let them build up a long partnership. Dutta produced an unwanted swing on McCarter’s ball,
leading it straight to the wicket-keeper Hodgins.
The fall of 3rd wicket in the 6th over left Canada in a critical situation as they had scored only 10 runs so far.
Wicket-keeper Darren Ramsammy came out to b at number 5 but left in the same way as Dutta. McCarter was the most damaging bowler from the Irish team as claimed his 2nd wicket by dismissing Ramsammy.

The 6th over produced three wickets for Ireland and a hat-trick for McCarter but remained very expensive for the Canadian team.
The next batsman was the captain of the batting side Kesavan Juvarajan. The skipper also could not play a significant innings and contributed only 5 runs off 26 deliveries.
No one in the Canadian batting line-up could reach a double figure score except for Edghill who contributed 10 runs. Strong Irish bowlers dismissed the entire Canadian team in just 25 overs at a lowest total in the tournament so far.
Ireland got an effortless target of 38 runs to be chased in 50 overs at a run rate of 1.48 runs per over.
