Both teams were well balanced and the clash had the hallmarks of a befitting competition, however, Pakistan failed to rise to the occasion as their batting line-up fell short of chasing a daunting total of 251 runs.
Earlier, after winning the toss, West Indies chose to bat first as they knew that Pakistan had shown signs of vulnerability in their batting line-up during the tournament and the Windies were counting on exploiting Pakistan’s weakness.

With Taylor out of the way, Pakistan were hoping to grab a couple of more wickets, however, their hopes were pulverised by a splendid batting performance from Nero and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shanel-Francine-Daley-c89696 as the batswomen showed great touch with the bat against Pakistan bowlers who were running out of ideas in front of the West Indies batters.
The duo amassed 31 runs together, Later,  Nero and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Stacy-Ann-Camille-Ann-King-c90876 amassed a staggering fifth-wicket partnership of 94 runs to help the side post 250 runs for the loss five wickets.
Coming out to bat, Pakistan needed to give a batting performance of a lifetime, however, the West Indian bowling attack proved just too good for them as the Girls in Green fell after posting 120 runs in 37.3 overs.
Opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Qanita-Jalil-c82844’s 53-run knock was the only highlight in Pakistan’s batting as the rest of the batters were just not up to speed.
From West Indies, spinner http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Anisa-Mohammed-c44783 gave a stupendous performance as she grabbed seven wickets and was named as the Player of the Match, while opener Taylor was named as the Player of the Series.
