The Girls in Green were looking to avenge their previous defeat, while the West Indians had their eyes on winning the tournament.
Both teams were well balanced and the clash had the hallmarks of a befitting competition, however, Pakistan failed to rise to the occasion as their batting line-up fell short of chasing a daunting total of 251 runs.
Earlier, after winning the toss, West Indies chose to bat first as they knew that Pakistan had shown signs of vulnerability in their batting line-up during the tournament and the Windies were counting on exploiting Pakistan’s weakness.

Coming out to bat, Pakistan needed to give a batting performance of a lifetime, however, the West Indian bowling attack proved just too good for them as the Girls in Green fell after posting 120 runs in 37.3 overs.
