ICC World Cricket League Division One: Canada beat Kenya
Canada completed a 6 wicket win against Kenya in the ICC World Cricket League Division One at Sport Park Thurlede at Schiedam today.
It was a low scoring match where Canada, after choosing to field first, restricted Kenya to just 153. In reply, Canada did not have much trouble in chasing down the modest target with 6 wickets to spare.

Ouma and Obanda put on 29 runs for the opening partnership for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kenya-c752 with relative ease. It was finally broken when Obanda was caught by Barnett off the bowling of Baidwan for 14 from 19 balls with 3 fours as Canada tasted success for the first time in the match.
The Kenyans fought back with a 2nd wicket partnership between Ouma and Obuya who put on 46 runs. It looked like Kenya would be able to put on a good score after all.
But as usual, Kenya lost their way as Obuya was caught behind off the bowling of Desai after scoring 23 from 68 balls with one boundary.
From 75 for 2, Kenya went to 83 for 3 when Patel was quickly sent back after being caught by Kumar off the bowling of Desai after scoring just 5 runs from 14 balls with one four.

He was followed by Odoyo and Wesonga, who gave some respectability to the score by scoring 33 runs for the 6th wicket partnership. The joy was short-lived for Kenya as Wesonga was cleaned up by Baidwan after scoring 22 runs from 30 balls with one four. After this wicket, the downward slide continued for Kenya.
The last 5 batsmen did not even make it to the double figures as Kenya was all out for just 153 runs. Baidwan was the most successful bowler for Canada with 3 wickets while Cheema and Deasi got 2 wickets each.

Baidwan from Canada was named as the man-of-the-match for his 3 wickets.
