After a disappointing batting display, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Close-c51347 to their innings after posting a total of just 73 runs with all players out. The contest between Fiji and Vanuatu took place at the Colts Cricket Ground
on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. The fixture comes as the 9th game of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cricket League East Asia-Pacific Region Division One Twenty20 series.
The match started after Vanuatu won the toss and chose to bat.
The team’s session was opened with right handed batsmen http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kitiano-Suliasi-Biudole-Tavo-c71564 and left-handed bowler Mohammad Kahn.
The Vanuatu batting duo brought in a disappointing start to the day after Tavo secured both their wickets in the first over of the innings.
Carlot (0) was the first player to make the walk back to the pavilion after being caught out by fielder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Iniasi-Cakacaka-c64371. Natapei also followed after adding nothing to the total. He was caught out by the wicket keeper Maciu Gauna.

As the game entered the second last quarter of the innings, the wicket taking streak continued for the Fijian bowlers, who brought more trouble for the Vanuatu players.
