ICC World Cricket League East Asia-Pacific Region Division One T20: Vanuata v Samoa – Match Recap

The Vanuatu batsmen played really well, scoring 185 runs for the loss of three wickets in their outing. The team’s captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Mansale-c44493, led from the front, scoring 85 runs and remained unbeaten until the end. He also took two wickets in the match, ensuring
a thrilling victory for his team.
Samoa fought back really hard and gave a tough time to the opposition’s bowlers. The team reached 180 runs, losing just five wickets in their innings. Top-order batsman, Benjamin Mailata, was the top scorer of the match, as he remained not-out on 98. His
fabulous effort went in vain though, as his side lost the game in the end.
Vanuatu’s captain had no doubt in his mind to bat first after winning the toss, as the conditions were excellent for the batsmen.

Loutala Fuinaomo bowled well for Samoa, taking one wicket for 29 runs in his four-over spell.
Samoa also had an almost similar start to their opposition, as they lost a few quick wickets in their innings. Openers, Sean Cotter and Geoff http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120 failed to make an impression and were dismissed for six and 12 respectively.

Mansale had a very good game, as he scored crucial runs and took two wickets for his team, leading them to a five-run win.
