ICC World Cup 2011, Virat Kohli not worried about his spot in the final 11

“I did well in South Africa but a lot of our key players were missing, but they will be fit for the World Cup”, Kohli stated before adding that his inclusion depends upon the team’s needs, once the top-order recovers from their injuries.
India’s vice-captain, veteran batsmen, Virendar Sehwag, was tending to a shoulder injury that he suffered during the Test series against South Africa in January and subsequently missed the five-match One Day series. Sehwag, however, declared that he is “fully
fit” earlier today and is confident to make a strong comeback in front of the home crowd for India’s World Cup campaign.

a left-forearm injury earlier in the second Test match against the Proteas.
However, Kohli said that the experienced players will be fit in time for the event and he is prepared to sit out.
“I am prepared for anything that the team asks me to do”, Kohli stated.
The 22-year-old right-handed batsman has earned a reputation as a level-headed middle-order batsman. He has proved himself to be a valuable asset. He was handed his International limited-overs debut in 2008 against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 as a replacement for Sehwag and
remained the fourth-highest scorer at 159 in the five-match series.
Since then, he has emerged as one of the rising stars of India’s young lot with his consistent batting and match-winning performances in 2010. The youngster, who was once known for throwing away the game and under-performing when under pressure, has matured
well.
“I have obviously learnt from my mistakes and I have worked hard on correcting my flaws to improve”, he stated.
