Young Indian batsman Virat Kohli has expressed his excitement about the ICC World Cup 2011 and said that it is going to be the biggest event of his short career so far.
Kohli added that he will give it his all to win the mega event for his country.

This will be Kohli’s first World Cup with the senior team after he captained the Indian team in the ICC Under-19 World Cup back in 2006. He knows that there would be a lot of pressure on the team during the World Cup as they are playing on their home grounds.
The Delhi-born right-handed batsman said, “Playing the World Cup in itself is huge pressure. There will be people who expect us to do well. The biggest challenge is, therefore, not to get distracted by that and concentrate on the job on hand.”
He further expressed his desire to win the World Cup as it could be a dream come true for many of the Indian cricketers.
“It's been a dream run for me since the Under-19s, and it was a dream to make it to the World Cup team one day. I'm really excited and will give my best to win it for India. It will be dream come true if we can achieve it,” Kohli added.
