I'm twenty and I'm going to Canada. I'm not sure what the rules are now... but can I use my birth certificate and driver's license to go to Canada still? That's what I used the other times... but I'm not sure if there are any rule changes. Oh and I would use my passport but it's expired. Thanks.

  1. Depends on how you enter Canada. You are required to hold a valid passport if you travel by AIR. You don't need a passport when traveling by "LAND or SEA" (TILL JUNE 2009) You need a government issued photo ID such as a driver's license and birth certificate.

  2. you need a passport!...i go to canada every summer for hockey and you need a passport!...other than your ticket (if youre flying), you just need a passport.

  3. HELLO

    PASSPORT

    OR

    GREENCARD

  4. Hello, Here is a site that can answer all your question; relating to requirements into Canada:

    http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/en/home.s...

  5. Drivers License and birth certificate will get you in if you are *driving* (or walking across Rainbow Bridge in NF) until June 2009. Get your passport renewed as soon as you can anyways.
