Question:

ID this bird? Red triangle and black bib?

I only saw this bird on the ground with its wings folded. It was in West Virginia.

It was about the size of a starling. It was basically brown. The wings had a stripe pattern of lighter and darker brown.

The really distinguishing features were a bright red triangle on the back of its head and a black, shield-shaped bib on its chest.

What is it?
