Rahul Dravid, Sourav Gangully and VVS Laxman

-Reasons

They are now physically not fit enough to play the international cricket

-And even in the past they were not match winners especially when chasing was there.

-If u see Gangully's whole carreer he never gave the express start when india needed. He was highly relying on tendulker for getting good start for india.

-Same is with Laxman and Dravid

-They are not able to hit sixes when needed.

-Cricket is not all about playing sensible and defencive all the time. But when u r with tailenders then u should also know how to hit sixes and fours and increase score board. Some times 20 or 30 runs hit on few deliveries can change the whole game rather then hitting a century and leading india to a terrible loss.

One name that comes to mind is that of Ganguly's. He had problems in the past with BCCI. And now his performance was not up to the mark. Now we have to wait and see where his future lies. I think the rest will be given another chance.

Mendis was the main difference in the series and M&M together are a threat to any team.

Mendis grips the ball with fingers and flicks it on release to bowl a variety of deliveries and it is not going to be easy for most of the batsmen to play him in these conditions.
