IE 7 has in built seach bar, but no other features..?

IE 7 has a seach bar, at right up corner, I also have google toolbar, also includes blog search, news searches, some dictionary, wiki. So, this inbuilt IE 7 search bar is useless, is there way I can remove it?

use firefox, opera, google chrome or ie8beta2 instead

Microsoft never put an option in the settings for IE 7 to disable or remove it, but you can set a registry key to make it go away.

If you open this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\M... Explorer\Infodelivery\Restrictions

And create a dword value named "NoSearchBox" and set it to 1. The search box will be gone. Set it back to 0 and it will be back again.
