  1. 6x + 30 + 3 = -8x +80 - 10

    6x + 33 = -8x + 70

    14x = 37

    x = 37/14


  2. 6(x+5)+3=-8(x-10)-10

    6x+30+3=-8x+80-10

    6x+33=-8x+70

    14x+33=70

    14x=37

    x = 37/14 = 2  9/14
