If every man on earth decided to go back to the old days before feminism and end all progress made by feminists... could women stop it? If ALL laws protecting women were done away with.... could feminism survive?

If so... how?

(I know this will probably never happen, but it's a WHAT IF question people).

Sarcastic or insulting answers will be frowned upon and ignored.

  1. if you really want to end feminist movement, fund development of ectogenisis.

Make it affordable if not readily available.

Women would then eliminate feminists by themselves.

You need not to get your hands dirty.

  2. IMHO, the laws giving women equal rights are much of what feminism is all about. I believe that feminism could carry on through cultural means, such as women being given strong roles in movies or women boycotting businesses with strongly oppressive policies toward women. Also, I think enough men have changed the way they view women so that it would never go totally back to the way it was.

  3. Women could not stop it nor did the start it! Women's liberation was funded by men. The elite Rockefeller's through the C.I.A. Men gave women the power to be manipulated and controlled the feminists just don't realize this

  4. Probably not. But like you said, it will never happen.

EDIT: Please read where you state "I know this will probably never happen".

EDIT: Okay, I'll stop the silly banter- just answer Zinnproj... questions and I'll be on my way.  Stop wasting your time telling us to read if it's a "what if" question and answer some of the thought provoking questions.  Ex.  What exactly do you think constitutes feminism? What would be stopped in your "what if" world?

  5. Radical feminists are able to do what they want ultimately because men allow them to.

  6. Sure we would. We've defeated every retroactive trick before. You can't stop progress unless that's what the majority wants, and men are not the majority, especially blatantly anti-feminist men.

EDIT: I know it's a what-if question, Mike, but I'm not going to give you the result you want to hear.

  7. No there is not a lot women could do about it if males were determined enough.

    But what then????

Women would be reduced to property again and forced to work like skives.

I would not want this fate to befall any of my female relatives and neither I bet would you.

I know what you're getting at though, some women are OVERPLAYING there cards through sick movements like political correctness and other flights of fancy.

That is not the individual females fault but the work of a few "trouble makers" in this movement.

So I would say you're right, there is not a lot women could do about it if men decided on mass to behave in this degenerate way, however I detest radical forms of feminism but women can and should stand up for their rights in a democratic society as should men.

  8. no, they wouldn't, but they wouldn't be very happy.

  9. Nope

For decades feminists have been relying on "daddy government" for help and to take care of them.   If every man decided to stand up and end feminism, "daddy goverment" will no longer be there to shelter them; simply put, fems wouldn't last even for a day :-D.

  10. There were laws protecting women before feminism.  Men did not have open season on women in pre-feminist days.  Women's rights might have been more restricted, but they were not non-existent.  There has never been a time in western civilisation when women had no rights at all.

  11. The dynamics of life always escalate - not retreat.  Women won't give up what they've fought for now that the truth is out.  A better question might have been "Why do I fear equality."

  12. probably not. there are more guys in the world, and not all girls are femenisits. im okay with what we have as women and prolly wouldnt care that much about politics to fight with them if it were to come to a fight.

  13. Good luck with stopping people thinking.

    Cheers :-)

  14. We could absolutley stop it.  You see we hold absolute power.  Without us, you get no reproduction, no s*x, no loving.  Men would simply not be ok if all women started to hate all men.  Good luck staving off a population of horny men and adamently sexually inactive women.  lol

  15. I don't think they could do much.

Any guys that don't like women and want them to be treated like c**p must hate them and " not be into women ". ( not that there is anything wrong with that ).

  16. thank god that will never happen but if so then we will get all our stuff and go back to Venus !!

  17. Why go back to the old days, we could end it now if we wanted and their wouldn't be a d**n thing they could do to stop us.

  18. You cannot just delete feminism, you can only extract its fangs. There will always be diehards with any ideology. Like naziism will go on forever even though Hitler its founder was defeated in war.

Like racism is race-based and race biased, feminism is s*x-based and s*x-biased so the diehards will linger on.

  19. While there may be some individual cases of women who are strong enough to stand up to some men, overall I think men could stop all progress made by women.  You'd never stop them remembering and thinking of ways to bring feminism back though.  Look at Iran and how their society has changed since radical muslim fundamentalists took over.  All in all, since most men are physically stronger, and still hold most positions of power, I think your scenerio could occur in some ways, but feminism would never die out completely as long as humans are capable of independent thought.  It would just be underground.

  20. Yes. When women learn to use their power, men are going to have less.

    I hope this help you!

  21. If every man in the world decided to end feminism, the number of lesbians would increase.

Yes, I believe feminists would have the power to stop it. But does that mean they would use it?

  22. Hard question. Not all women are feminists, and some men are, so we would probably still be many enough.

  23. If the men wanted to end all progress and go back to how it was, it would be impossible. There's a great deal of women involved in government decisions now, there's a lot of women at the top of corporations and many working women are the backbone to the corporations they work for. IF this were to ever be considered, the power that the women have in corporations and government would have to be considered. There's feminists in government and feminists in businesses...you'd be surprised at how many of them keep their beliefs to themselves - especially in parliament.

  24. You are correct that it would never happen. The feminist that scream the loudest cannot get men anyway.

  25. Of course not, women would not have achieved the rights they have if not for the help of men.

  26. That wouldn't happen because for that to happen every man would want that, and the majority of normal sane human beings don't want thigns to be as they were in the old days.

  27. Will dissension also be ignored?

First, what consitutes "feminism" to you?

Second, when were the "old days" you speak of?  In what society?

Third, do men have the ability to force women to act in any given manner?

You might consider asking how many men in the US of A really believe that they have control over all thoughts and behavior of their wives.

Yes, I think women could stop it...after they stopped laughing.

How?  By ignoring us and banding together.  As they've been doing for eons.

I'm kind of thinking you've never been married.  Would I be correct?

    Edit:

Just for the record, I don't believe this is an "us or them" situation.  I'm more of a feminist that most females I know.  When I say that, I mean that I believe in the abilities of both women and men.  Yes, we have biological differences, and we may have our predispositions.  But there is a range of predispositions in men, and there is a range of predispositions of women.  Might we consider that there might then be a greater flexibility in the range of roles we play?

Edit #2 to Gun Fanatic:  Did Lorena Bobbit need the government's help?

Edit #3 to Danna:  Why would lesbianism increase?  Does choosing the company of women constitue lesbianism?  Is not lesbianism a matter of sexual orientation? (http://www.thebody.com/content/art32929....  If I were to choose only the company of men, would that mean that I was a homosexual?

  28. intresting thought. in a way feminism and the world as we know it would cease to exists but then again women have alot more self beliefe and know the potential of there abilities so women would'nt give up without a fight.

plus women are mothers who usually are primary carers of children so they would have the most impact on children and would probaly teach the next generation equality and feminism again so in effect yes they wold stop it.

very good and intresting question though.

  29. Mike what good would come out of ending feminism?  I'm not a feminist exactly, I just want to understand what you think it should be like?

I suppose if every man on earth decided to end it then yes they could. It would be a problem and I don't think it would go down easily.

Edit- In those countries were women have no rights they are accustomed to that, they've never had them. So yeah, they do just fine. However here and now? It would be a problem.

Also in a lot of those countries were women have no rights they are also treated like sh*t, so I guess that's what your idea of without feminism is? The men who are doing just fine when it comes to s*x take what they want. Is that your Idea of doing just fine? forcing someone instead of having them want you?

  30. in reality its impossible for EVERY man to end feminism. How about g*y people and the trans gender population.

Feminism may be suppressed by the law but that will only lead to something worse-mass civil unrest. There would be chaos and a possibility of civil war.

I mean the French wanted liberty from the Aristocrats so the only option was to fight a war to get liberty.

The same would happen if there were people out there who would fight a war for feminism.

  31. What about the feminist men???  Are the feminist men going to suddenly turn into Mike T's?
