I try and try but I just can't get over the fact that "if" God existed (which he certainly doesn't) he's totally got his head up his own datehole...

Christians..your God is a tosser...deal with it!

  1. I'm not religious, but doubt many of any religion would agree that their God created them for the purpose of selfworship.

  2. Haha yea. True true..

    Try this:

    www.evilbible.com

Points out all the stuff thats WRONG with the bible.

    Also: there is no CHOICE.

    “Free Will”, You Say?

It is also written that I was given free will with which to choose if I will go to h**l or not.

How can you possibly deem something free when you must fear consequences?

That completely conflicts with the definition of free.  If I were to hold a gun to your head and say “you have free will to not give me your wallet, but if you attempt to defy me I will kill you.”  Does it really feel as if you have a choice in the matter?  Of course not.  Free means to give or receive something with out an expectation of return.  The whole free will concept is self defeating.  Call it Circumstantial Will, for that is what it truly is.

  3. It doesn't make sense for Christin's to believe god created all things and knows all and still worship him on an almost daily basis...If there was an all knowing being i don't think he needs a daily boost to his ego.  They pray to him because they are afraid of his wrath if they don't ...i.e h**l

  4. If he forced you to worship him, I would agree. You obviously have not been forced.

  5. Disgusting is the word I would choose.

  6. fmko is a moron. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. The thing you have to remember about 'God' is 'Do as I say, not as I do.'.

  7. no...because we have a choice to worship God or not...

add on...i see...so because there are consequences for sin...we are forced...as if God planned for Adam and Eve to bring sin into the world...that truly is a screwed up view of God...

  8. "God says do what you wish, but make the wrong choice and you will be tortured for eternity in h**l. That sir, is not free will. It would be akin to a man telling his girlfriend, do what you wish, but if you choose to leave me, I will track you down and blow your brains out. When a man says this we call him a psychopath and cry out for his imprisonment/execution. When god says the same we call him 'loving' and build churches in his honor. " — William C. Easttom IIt

  9. God created human beings for reciprocal love.   This is not vain and human do similarly when they have children.

  10. Your perspective makes sense...but only because you've never really entertained the idea that he might exist!  As such, you're automatically programmed to find a negative interpretation for anything you hear about him...basic psychology!

If you want to open your mind to another perspective, you have to sincerely assume (just for the sake of argument) that he does exist and he is exactly who he claims to be!

    OK, now try this...

A God capable of creating all of this would have no need for worship...and if he wanted it, he could make rocks cry out to him!  If worship was his goal, then he could have easily created us pre-programmed to worship him.  If God exists then it isn't logical to think he created us so he could get his jollies from our worship! Quite frankly, most of us suck at it and it would be a pretty silly God to create us if worship is what he wants!

We all have the choice to acknowledge him or not...if his goal was worship, why would he give us the ability to make that choice? That would be akin to us building a computer and giving that computer the ability to reject our password for any reason it chooses! We aren't that stupid...why would anyone think the God that created us is that stupid??

Yes, he wants us to worship him...but he wants that because of what it does FOR US not what it does for him!  The fact that we have the choice not to worship (or even acknowledge) him suggests that he has a reason for wanting us to choose to do so.  The way I see it, making the choice to acknowledge and worship God changes a person in ways that most people can't even imagine. I won't bore you with all the ways I've identified...in essence, the choice to believe opens our mind to eternity and to new perceptions.

...and perhaps that's what God really created us to do!  When I look at the world, it seems like the ultimate classroom for teaching human beings any number of things they need to learn to be capable of sharing eternity with God!  Those that learn what God designed this classroom to teach them have a place in his company...some graduate with honors and are given more responsibilities (and rewards)...the rest are on their own.

Not vanity, just a perfect plan for finishing what he started "in the beginning".  His goal wasn't to create carbon copies (pun intended) of himself that would worship the ground he didn't walk on!...his goal was and is to create people that are so far beyond what they are while they live on this planet as to make us comparable to an amoeba!

Our life here is a giant learning experience...and we have the God-given right and ability to choose what we want to learn from this life (if anything). Thing is, only those that learn what God designed this learning experience to teach them will leave school with the knowledge/wisdom/peace/whatever) required for them to be eligible for the last stage of God's transforming hand...the stage required to be capable of eternal life in his kingdom!

  11. Yeah, if the Judeo-Christian God existed, he would be a complete b*****d. Look:

    1. He "tests" us by making us suffer horribly

    2. He loves us...and yet if we don't kiss his ***, he'll make us suffer forever

    3. He allows war, murder, rape, famine, etc. to happen

    4. He lets unbaptized babies go to purgatory...like a baby ever did anything wrong

    5. He apparently punished Ham by making Black people. The Bible is so goddamn racist.

  12. I agree that's why I became an atheist,it just seems so egotistical and the worst part is if you don't do it your send off to h**l.
