IF I BUY A PHONE WITH OUT CONTRACT CAN l USE PRE PAID CARDS ON IT?

I believe you can. I think places like Bestbuy and even Walmart has phones from Verizon and Spirit that are prepaid phones. All of those phones are prepaid-and that is why I think they do not have a 2 or 1 year contract.

Now, if your phone is an older phone (like my old 2002 cell phone from Cingular Wireless that has been dead for 2 years and the service has been off for 2 years)  from Verizon and you want to add minutes to it from a prepaid phone card-that is different and I'm not sure about that one.

Its a Verizon phone? You have to buy the Verizon pre paid cards for it. Some carriers have seperate phones for the prepaid service though. You should just call the 800 number and check.
